Mississippi State’s Kaleb Eulls and Malcolm Johnson, along with Serderius Bryant of Ole Miss, were named to the SEC coaches all-freshman team.

The squad, released Thursday, features five LSU players and four each from Arkansas and Tennessee. The SEC freshman of the year award went to South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, a highly touted prospect who’s recorded 32 tackles and 6.0 sacks this season.

Eulls, a defensive end, has made 29 tackles, 3.0 tackles-for-loss and a sack, and is the only SEC freshman defensive lineman to start all 12 games. Johnson, a tight end, has 10 catches for 169 yards and three touchdowns.

Bryant, a linebacker, made four starts and recorded 61 tackles, which ranked fifth on the team and third among SEC freshmen.

Garrett Uekman, the Arkansas tight end who died unexpectedly on Nov. 20, is the honorary captain.
