Union County Chief Deputy and Sheriff-Elect Jimmy Edwards said a house on County Road 278 was broken into Thursday night about 11:30, and an abandoned vehicle was found nearby about 2 a.m. Friday. Around 4 a.m., another car was reported stolen on County Road 213, the extension of New Albany's Murrah Road, where the Price home is located.
Edwards said a female suspect was arrested in the stolen vehicle around daylight, and a male suspect was arrested a short time later.
"At this point it seems this burglary and vehicle theft are not related to the shooting of the Prices," Edwards said. "We were all hopeful."
