Delta State coach headed to Southeastern La.

Ron Roberts, the football coach at Delta State for the past five seasons, will be named head coach at Southeastern Louisiana today, according to media reports. Roberts was 47-16 with the Statesmen, who reached Division II finals last season and the semifinals this year.

Southeastern Louisiana went 3-8 this season under Mike Lucas, who was fired Nov. 22.

He went 19-40 in six seasons.
