TUPELO — A woman who worked in a barbershop in the Tupelo mall is scheduled for sentencing in January for passing fake $100 bills.

The indictment in the case said Amber K. Bailey worked at Mastercuts in the Mall at Barnes Crossing when she put a fake bill in the register and took a real one in June. She's also accused of passing a phony bill at Wal-Mart in Tupelo.

She pleaded guilty in August. Sentencing is set for Jan. 18 in U.S. District Court in Aberdeen.
