District Attorney Ben Creekmore tells WTVA-TV that Alanna Norwood entered the plea in Chickasaw County Circuit Court in Okolona on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old Norwood was indicted in the stabbing death of 52-year-old Frank Winters at a home in Calhoun City in January of 2011.
Authorities say the couple was apparently involved in some type of argument.
Creekmore says Norwood was sentenced to 20 years in prison with six years suspended.
