Prentiss County holds meth lab suspects

BOONEVILLE – Two suspects remain in Prentiss County Jail suspected of operating a meth lab after a weekend investigation in southern Prentiss County.

Bond of $10,000 was set for Timothy Larernn Roberts, 37, of 10 C.R. 3450, Booneville on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and felony malicious mischief. Christy Ann Payne, 38, of 59 C.R. 3070 Apt. E1, Marietta, has a bond of $7,500 on charges of possession of precursors with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

Both suspects who were on probation or parole remain in custody with a hold by the state Department of Corrections.

The case remains under investigation by narcotics investigator Joey Clark.
