According to his campaign finance report for the fourth quarter of 2011, Mississippians gave him $110,000 of the $191,960 he had earned during that period.
Most came from individuals, but he also raised some from companies and political action committees.
In all, political action committees gave $63,975. Most of them were based out of state with the largest cluster coming from the Washington D.C. area.
Two lobbyists also gave to Nunnelee: Thomas L. Mills and Constantine Papavizas of Winston & Strawn each gave $1,000 and $500, respectively. The firm itself also gave $1,000.
Based in Washington D.C., Winston & Strawn lobbies for numerous groups, including USA Maritime, Boeing and Teva Pharmaceuticals.
The biggest contributors were:
• Christopher Croot of Tupelo – $5,000
• Julian Hill of Tupelo - $5,000
• Renasant Bank Employees Voluntary PAC of Tupelo - $5,000
• John and Dawn Correnti of Columbus - $10,000
• Gerald Hill of Falkner – $5,000
• Kenny Hill III of Ripley – $5,000
• J. Morgan of Oxford – $5,000
• William and Abi Rayburn of Oxford, MS – $10,000
• Denise Pratt of Pope – $5,000

Nunnelee faces Republicans Henry Ross and Robert Estes in the GOP primary on March 13. Ross raised about $1,300 in the fourth quarter of 2011. Estes didn't start his fundraising until 2012.
Also in the race are Democrat Brad Morris and Libertarian Danny Bedwell. Neither had raised contributions last year, either. They'll face the winner of the GOP primary in the November general election.
Here are a list of all Nunnelee's contributors from the fourth quarter of 2011, divided into geographic areas:
