• The Northeast CC women used 18 points from Amber Jackson (Tupelo) to knock off Northwest 67-59 on Thursday. Kebrina Lucas (New Albany) added 13 for the Lady Tigers (8-10, 4-3). Jermaine Hollimon scored a game-high 20 points as the NECC men defeated Northwest 90-71. Acie Vance (Ripley) chipped in with 15 points for the Tigers (13-4, 4-3).
• The Blue Mountain College women fell to second-ranked Freed-Hardeman 77-50 on Thursday. Jesse Hayles (South Pontotoc) led the Lady Toppers (3-17, 0-9 TSAC) with 10 points. Shane Butler (Tupelo) scored 17 points as the BMC men (7-14, 0-9) lost to Freed-Hardeman 67-59.
