On Thursday, deputies served three search warrants and made drug-related arrests.
Teddie Demond Danner, 26, of Hamilton, was charged with possession of crack cocaine. Russell James Sims, 29, of Hamilton, was charged with possession with the intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a church and two counts of sale of a controlled substance. Zachary W. McKinney, 56, of Amory, was charged with possession of crack cocaine.
Bond has not been set for Danner, Sims and McKinney.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office, along with North Mississippi Narcotics and the Amory Police Department responded to a welfare check on 8th Street in Amory where they arrested Candace Pierce, 26, of Aberdeeen and Henry Mac Hood Jr., 31, of Alabama.
Pierce and Hood were charged with possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school after precursors for the manufacture of meth were allegedly located in their house.
Pierce's bond was set at $10,000 and Hood's bond at $25,000.
