UPDATE: Name released of worker killed at Sherman plant

SHERMAN – A 50-year-old worker at Best Foam company was killed Thursday morning at the plant.

Sam Wilson was killed after being caught in machinery.

Pontotoc County Coroner Kim Bedford said the autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.

The incident happened around 11 a.m.

The Sherman Police Department is investigating the incident.

Serenity Funeral Home in New Albany is in charge of arrangements.
