James W. Pulliam, 61, of Mansfield, Texas, will go on trial May 21 in Oxford before Chief U.S. District Judge Michael P. Mills.
He is accused of seeking disaster aid through the Federal Emergency Management Agency for a residence at 1588 County Road 406 in Houston, claiming it was his primary residence.
Residences not someone's primary home are not eligible for FEMA relief.
Ronnie G. Beard, 46, of Okolona, is scheduled for trial July 30 in Aberdeen before Judge Sharion Aycock.
Authorities accuse him of falsely seeking disaster aid for a residence at 586 County Road 157, Okolona, which authorities say is not his primary residence.
Both men were indicted Dec. 14 and accused of embezzling public money exceeding $1,000 related to their disaster aid claims.
Each pleaded not guilty and is free on $5,000 bond.
They reportedly filed disaster claims with FEMA in May 2011
If convicted on all counts, each faces up to 40 years in prison and a $500,000 fine.
