ABERDEEN — A federal judge has set a trial date for a 23-year-old Tupelo man facing a three count federal indictment in the armed robbery of a bank in September.

WTVA-TV reports Cory Juwan Baker faces charges of bank robbery by force, unlawful transport of firearms, and use of a weapon in the commission of a violent crime.

He entered a not guilty plea to the charges in October.

Baker is charged with the robbery of the M&F Bank in Tupelo on September 9th.

He is being held without bond in the Lafayette County Detention Center.

The judge set a trial date for April 23 in U.S. District Court in Aberdeen.
