Tupelo Ballet to present

‘Don Quixote’ on Saturday

The classic ballet “Don Quixote” will be presented for the first time ever in Tupelo by the Tupelo Ballet this weekend.

The Spanish tale, full of romance, humor and magical creatures, will be staged at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Tupelo Civic Auditorium.

Mustache awards, art show

on tap for benefit event

Mustaches of all kinds are welcomed at this Friday’s Mustache Bash at the GumTree Museum of Art.

There’ll be music, hors d’oeuvres, awards for the best mustache and a mustache art show.

It’s $15 at the door, or just $10 with a mustache.

The Mustache Bash is at 7 p.m. Friday, and all proceeds go to the Autism Center of Tupelo and the GumTree Museum.

to rock at Goodtime Charlie’s

Two of Memphis’ biggest rock bands, Prosevere and Surrender the Fall, will be at Goodtime Charlie’s this weekend.
