Itawamba Community College sophomore standout Jameika Hoskins earned All-American honors, the NJCAA announced Tuesday.

Hoskins, a 5-foot-10 guard from Aberdeen, was named to the second team by the governing body of the nation’s community and junior colleges.

Hoskins averaged a double double this past season, 15 points and 10.3 rebounds per game, to help the Lady Indians (26-3) capture both the North Division and MACJC State Tournament championships and a runner-up finish in the Region 23 Tournament.

The two-time ICC all-stater was one of two MACJC players to earn NJCAA All-American honors. Alecia Autman, a 5-10 sophomore forward from Jones County, also garnered a spot on the second-team listing.
