Stokes said fire units from Ecru, Pontotoc and Hurricane responded to the fire around 1:30 a.m..
“When we arrived the sprinkler system had done a good job of containing the fire and we were able to extinguish the fire in less than hour,” Stokes said.
Stokes said the sprinkler system triggered the fire alarm.
Pontotoc County Fire Investigator Scott Gregory and an officer from the state fire marshall’s office are investigating the cause of the fire, Stokes said.
