LOUISVILLE — A Winston County grand jury has indicted a woman on one count of felonious exploitation of a vulnerable person.

Attorney General Jim Hood says in a news release that 65-year-old Hortense Whigham is accused of allegedly writing a check on the bank account of a 95 year old.

Hood says Whigham used the money to buy a $29,000 vehicle.

No court date has been announced.
