Bond set for man accused of battery

TUPELO - Bond is set for a Saltillo man who has been charged with three sex crimes involving a child.

William Lee Bates, 39, of Saltillo, was charged Wednesday with one count of sexual battery, one count of enticement of a child for sexual purposes and one count of molestation.

Bates' bond was set at $210,000 Wednesday in the Lee County Justice Court, $70,000 for each count.
