Tupelo CVB holds educational session

TUPELO – The Tupelo Convention & Visitors Bureau

board had an educational session Monday afternoon with city personnel, elected officials and the city attorney.

The board members learned about what their powers include and what the mayor would like to see them do.

Chairman Neal McCoy said the CVB is getting ready to propose a 10-year plan, so the meeting also included information about why the CVB

was formed and what it has accomplished so far.
