Mississippi State freshman Ally McDonald finished in a tie for 23rd at the SEC women’s golf championship at Fayetteville, Ark.

McDonald, from Fulton, finished at 18-over 234, tied with Ole Miss leader Haley Sanders.

Auburn’s Patricia Sanz won the tournament with a 3-over 29.

Auburn (916) edged Arkansas (917) for the team title with a par putt on the final hole. Ole Miss (950) finished 10th and Mississippi State 12th.
