Christopher Freeman, 27, and Lenardo Heard, 30, of Tupelo, were arrested after Baldwyn Police responded to an alarm call from the Medical Arts Pharmacy in Baldwyn at 12:13 a.m.
Assistant Baldwyn Police Chief Greg Boxx said officers were on the scene before the suspects were able to gain entry into the pharmacy and the suspects then fled on foot.
Lee County and Prentiss County sheriff’s deputies assisted in the search.
Boxx said this is the fourth burglary or attempted burglary of a Baldwyn pharmacy in as many months.
