Located at 204 Brookwood Road, Mitchell will occupy some 100,000 square feet of warehouse space with adjacent offices that will house the company’s customer service department.
The Pontotoc warehouse is more than triple the size of its formerly leased space in New Albany. The company said the new facility will “vastly improve and facilitate shipping and receiving operations.”
Mitchell also said it anticipates adding jobs, and already has hired several employees for the new location.
Mitchell will ship from its New Albany location until May 3. Customer service and the warehouse will be closed May 4 and May 7.
