UPDATE: One injured in shooting in Tupelo

UPDATE: The suspect from this shooting is a black male with a light complexion and was last seen driving a white Chevrolet Impala with damage to the passenger side door, according to Tupelo Police Captain Tim Tate. Anyone with information should call 1-800-773-TIPS.

TUPELO - A 17-year-old was shot at the intersection of West Main and Thomas Streets early this morning.

Tupelo Police Capt. Tim Tate said they received a call at about 12:45 a.m. to respond to an altercation at Dodge's Chicken.

At the intersection of West Main and Thomas, shots were fired from one car into another.

The 17-year-old was transported in a private vehicle to the North Mississippi Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is still at large.
