CATCHINGS, Miss. (AP) — Copiah County Deputies have arrested Jermaine Benson, Ashley Dollar, and Juan Catchings, all of Crystal Springs, in connection with a shooting this past week.

WLBT-TV reports the trio was charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery. Undersheriff Derrick Cubit says Catchings turned himself in, and Benson and Dollar were arrested Saturday morning.

Just before 8 Wednesday night, Lillian Castleberry was shot twice in the upper back. She was inside her home on Raymond Road at the time. The sheriff's department says money was stolen from the home.

Despite her wounds, Castleberry drove to a friend's house a mile and a half away. That friend alerted authorities.

Castleberry is recovering at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

The suspects were being held in the Copiah County Jail.
