Ole Miss women’s team, MSU’s McDonald to NCAAs

The Ole Miss women’s golf team earned its fourth consecutive NCAA Regional bid as the Rebels were selected Monday to the NCAA Central Regional, May 10-12 in Columbus, Ohio.

Meanwhile, Mississippi State freshman Ally McDonald was invited to play in the NCAA West Regional in Colorado.

The SEC led the nation with 11 of its12 member teams earning NCAA bids.

McDonald, from Fulton, is ranked No. 13 among college freshmen and No. 64 overall with her 74.22 scoring average.

The top finishers at each of the three regionals will advance to the NCAA Championship.
