Rick Ray keeps reeling them in.

On Friday, Mississippi State's new basketball coach announced his fourth signee in the past 10 days, as point guard Trivante Bloodman ended a visit to Starkville by signing a national letter of intent on Friday.

Bloodman, a 6-footer, comes to MSU after one year at Olney Central College, a two-year school in Illinois. The Bronx, N.Y., native averaged 15.4 points, 3.1 assists and 1.8 steals last season to earn Region 24 Freshman of the Year honors.

"He is someone that always works hard and is one of those guys that will annoy you defensively," Ray said in a school release. "He's got long arms and he's very strong."

Bloodman's addition gives the Bulldogs seven signees for the 2012 class, three of whom signed in the fall when Rick Stansbury was coach. Jacoby Davis, also a point guard, signed last week, and he will battle Bloodman for that starting spot.

"I'm a hard worker, and I love to win," Bloodman said in the release. "That's all I've ever known. And I know this is a place where we can win."

Bloodman will have three years of eligibility at MSU.

Also signing in recent days were guard Andre Applewhite and forward Colin Borchert. The fall signees are guard Craig Sword, guard Fred Thomas and center Gavin Ware.

Ray has one scholarship left if he chooses to award it. The spring signing period ends May 16.
