Florida 5, Kentucky 1: The Gators (35-12, 14-9) clinched the road series with a victory and moved into a tie with the Wildcats (36-11, 14-9) in the league standings.

Freshman Josh Tobias broke a 1-1 tie in the eighth with an RBI single. Florida dded three runs in the ninth on a pinch-hit single and two sacrifice flys.

Florida’s bullpen turned in 41⁄3 scoreless innings. Kentucky stranded 10 runners.

South Carolina 8, Arkansas 6: The host Razorbacks (33-14, 11-11) blew a 6-0 lead and lost in the 10th inning. The Gamecocks’ Evan Marzilli broke the tie with an RBI double to give his team iys 12th consecutive league victory.

South Carolina (35-11, 15-7) tied the game at 6 with three runs in the sixth inning.

Today’s game is scheduled for noon on ESPN2.

Georgia 5, Auburn 2: The Bulldogs (26-20, 10-12) got eight strong innings from Alex Wood and scored four runs in the sixth without a hit.

Wood (6-1) struck out 10 and freshman Pete Nagel pitched around a ninth-inning error for his first save.

Georgia broke open a game tied at 1 behind four walks and a hit batsman.

Tennessee 8, Vanderbilt 2: Sophomore Nick Williams struck out eight in a career-high 82⁄3 innings for the Vols (23-22, 8-14). Drew Steckenrider tied the school record with four doubles and drove in four in the victory for Tennessee, which snapped a seven-game losing streak.
