BLUE MOUNTAIN – Northeast Mississippi Community College and Blue Mountain College recently signed an agreement that will enable students to transfer credit more easily.

Under the agreement, BMC will accept 64 hours of “General Education Core” work – provided the student earns a grade of C or higher – toward the completion of a four-year degree. BMC signed a similar articulation agreement with Itawamba Community College a few weeks ago.

“It is important for all educational institutions in the region to work together in behalf of the students we serve,” said BMC President Bettye Rogers Coward.

Said Northeast president Johnny L. Allen: “Northeast is proud to enjoy a very positive and productive relationship with Blue Mountain College.”
