‘Songs of Love and Loss’ show set for Link Centre

Sopranos Kameryn Lueng and Marie Marquis, a Fulton native, and pianist Mei-En Chou will present “Dreaming in Soprano: Songs of Love and Loss,” next week at the Link Centre.

The show begins at 7:30 p.m. June 7.

Marquis and Lueng are both pursuing Master of Music degrees at Bard College in the Graduate Vocal Arts Program under the artistic direction of world-renowned soprano and four-time Grammy winner Dawn Upshaw.

Summer Sunset series kicks off at The Grove at Ole Miss

The Summer Sunset Series is a free concert series at the Grove at Ole Miss.

Michael Worthy and Friends kick off the series this Sunday at 7 p.m.

The series continues June 10 with Jimmy Phillips & the Ruminators, Maybelle’s Lovers on June 17 and the Jazz Lite Orchestra on June 24.

Lawn chairs, blankets and coolers are welcome.
