Today, crews will shift traffic from the current configuration to the newly constructed lanes on Highway 9 just north of the US 278/ Mississippi 6 interchange for approximately one quarter of a mile and will then shift back onto the existing Highway 9.
The detour will remain in place until all work is complete. Motorists are urged to use caution while travelling in this area.
MDOT will update motorists on this temporary detour as information becomes available.
