ABERDEEN - Abner McAllister, 609 Forrest St., Aberdeen, was arrested Tuesday, June 5, and charged with the sale of a controlled substance (crack cocaine) by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, according to a statement from the Office's spokesperson Tanya Powell.
Bond was set at $25,000 by Justice Court Judge Robert Fowlkes.
The arrest was part of an ongoing undercover operation and investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics in Monroe County. More arrests are expected, the statement said.
