Cierra Walters, of Iuka, had been camping over the weekend with her father, Chad Walters, said Tishomingo County Coroner Mack Wilemon.
The two went down to the water before leaving and were skipping rocks when Cierra suddenly fell into the water, Chad Walters told authorities. She was pulled from the water and transported to North Mississippi Medical Center-Iuka, where she was pronounced dead.
