New Albany C Kingsley leaving for West Virginia

New Albany ‘s Moses Kingsley is leaving the school to attend Huntington Prep in West Virginia for his senior season.

Kingsley, a 6-foot-9 center from Nigeria, averaged 12.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and seven blocks per game for the Bulldogs last season. He spent his sophomore and junior seasons at New Albany.

Kingsley is ESPN’s top ranked Mississippi player.

“We support his decision and wish him the very best,” New Albany athletic director Shane Sanderson said in a statement.

Colleges who have targeted Kingsley include Louisville, Arkansas, LSU, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
