Judge Paul Funderburk sentenced Timothy W. Stratton, 47, of Verona, to life in prison for each of two sexual battery convictions.
A jury found Stratton guilty on two counts of sexual battery
of his wife’s minor granddaughter.
Stratton was indicted in February 2011 on accusations he had oral sex with the girl who reported the alleged contact to her school counselor.
