A Lee County grand jury meeting next week could consider the case of three suspects held in connection with a Jan. 15 burglary in Shannon.

Juan Guarduno, 22, Angela Raines, 25, and Emmanuel Nava, 26, are being held in the Lee County Adult Jail on $1 million bonds each.

Shannon Police Chief Desiree Kershner said the bonds were set high because the suspects are considered flight risks and Guarduno and Nava are in the country illegally.

Guarduno and Raines are charged with grand larceny, breaking and entering and motor vehicle theft. Nava is charged with being an accessory after the fact.

Kershner said Guarduna and Raines were brought back from Florida last week after they allegedly left the area when police searched the apartment they were staying in.

Nava was charged Monday.
