Starting for the Salem-Keizer (Ore.) Volcanoes in the Class A Northwest League, Stratton pitched two innings against Yakima – he was on a limited pitch count - and left his first start with a no-decision.
Stratton, a former Mississippi State standout, gave up one hit, a two-out solo homer in the first. He struck our three and walked one.
Salem-Keizer lost the game 10-8 to Yakima.
Former Ole Miss pitcher RJ Hively picked up his third save for Yakima after pitching the final inning.
