MSU, South Alabama game will be pay-per-view

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State’s Sept. 22 football game against South Alabama will kick off at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the Bulldog Sports Television Network, the school’s pay-per-view network.

Bart Gregory will provide play-by-play on the telecast, while Jackie Sherrill will serve as color analyst.

The Bulldog Sports Television Network will distribute the game through cable and satellite providers in the state of Mississippi, select markets in

Alabama and the Memphis metropolitan area. The game is also expected to be available through ESPN’s GamePlan service and online streaming through HailStateTV.

The SEC allows each institution the opportunity to air one pay-per-view contest each season.

Twelve of the 14 teams in the SEC will use their pay-perview option this season.

Mississippi State kicks off the 2012 season on Sept. 1 against in-state foe Jackson State at 6 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on Fox Sports Net.
