HATTIESBURG - A 44-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from a shooting at a Hattiesburg restaurant that wounded five people.

The Hattiesburg American reports that a March 19 trial date for Scott Ashley Tyner was tentatively set during his arraignment Friday.

A Forrest County grand jury last month indicted Tyner on five counts of aggravated assault. He faces a maximum sentence of 100 years in prison if he's convicted of all counts.

Police say Tyner entered Cuco's Mexican Cafe on April 2 and opened fire.
