It was the North Division opener for ICC (3-0, 1-0).
Loftis, from Mooreville, completed 22 of 42 passes and was not intercepted. His favorite target was sophomore Rashad Pargo, from Aberdeen, who made five catches for 121 yards and two TDs.
The Indians' leading rusher, Courtney Gladney, opened the scoring with a 12-yard run. He finished with five carries for 68 yards and the TD.
Loftis threw two second-quarter TDs, 4 yards to Pargo and 28 yards to Jarvis Bentley.
ICC led 23-3 at halfime and built on that advantage after two big defensive plays by freshman Randall Boyd.
Boyd blocked a punt and returned it 18 yards to set up a 5-yard TD pass to Pargo, then recovered a fumble that led to a 2-yard TD run by LaDarrell Hunt and a 37-3 lead with 7:42 to play in the third quarter.
A defensive tackle for ICC, Chris Jones, had to be transported to the Greenwood hospital after an undisclosed injury. ICC head coach Jon Williams reported after the game that Jones was "alert and responding to doctors."
ICC is home next Thursday against Holmes (1-2, 1-0).
