Tennis mini-camp

n TUPELO - The Tupelo High School Tennis Booster Club is hosting a mini-camp for children in Kindergarten through sixth grade Saturday, March 7 at the Rob Leake City Park courts. Camp hours 9-11 a.m. Cost $25, includes T-shirt and snacks. Instructors are Dennis Otono and Lee Bates, assisted by THS coaches Sherry Rial and Shelly Miller and the THS tennis players. For more information call Andi at 321-9110 or Elizabeth at 213-8738. The sign-up deadline is Thursday, March 5. Rainout date for camp: March 8.

Saltillo band chilifest

n SALTILLO - The Saltillo High School band is hosting its annual Chilifest Friday, March 6 at the high school. Hours 5-8 p.m. Tickets are $6 from any band member or purchased at the door. Entertainment by ICC jazz band. Proceeds will go toward purchasing extra band uniforms for the 2009-10 members.

Relay For Life meeting

n TUPELO - A Relay for Life meeting will be 6 p.m. Thursday, March 5 at McAlisters' Deli in Tupelo. Anyone interested in forming a team or participating in the June 12 event to benefit the American Cancer Society is welcome to attend. Call Kevin Russell at 231-5011.

Etiquette class

n VERONA - Confidence is Class will be hosting a workshop on Saturday, March 7 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Verona. The cost of the workshop is $75. For more information, contact Kelly Brewer at 587-7500.
