n TUPELO - The Tupelo High School Tennis Booster Club is hosting a mini-camp for children in Kindergarten through sixth grade Saturday, March 7 at the Rob Leake City Park courts. Camp hours 9-11 a.m. Cost $25, includes T-shirt and snacks. Instructors are Dennis Otono and Lee Bates, assisted by THS coaches Sherry Rial and Shelly Miller and the THS tennis players. Saltillo band chilifest
n SALTILLO - The Saltillo High School band is hosting its annual Chilifest Friday, March 6 at the high school. Hours 5-8 p.m. Tickets are $6 from any band member or purchased at the door. Entertainment by ICC jazz band. Proceeds will go toward purchasing extra band uniforms for the 2009-10 members.
Relay For Life meeting
n TUPELO - A Relay for Life meeting will be 6 p.m. Thursday, March 5 at McAlisters' Deli in Tupelo. Anyone interested in forming a team or participating in the June 12 event to benefit the American Cancer Society is welcome to attend. Call Kevin Russell at 231-5011.
Etiquette class
n VERONA - Confidence is Class will be hosting a workshop on Saturday, March 7 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Verona. The cost of the workshop is $75. For more information, contact Kelly Brewer at 587-7500.
