HOUSTON – A 180-foot antenna soon will grace the Houston skyline as Cspire begins construction of a new telephone tower in downtown Houston.

The new tower has been planned for several months with telephone company officials originally approaching the Houston Board of Mayor and Aldermen seeking a permit.

A hole for a concrete foundation was dug at the site of the old Turner Dairy milk plant earlier this month and three large reinforced concrete piers have been poured that will anchor the tower.
