Agencies make seven drug arrests

IUKA - Seven suspects facing various drug charges in Tishomingo County were arrested this week in a cooperative effort by several law enforcement agencies.

The suspects arrested Tuesday are Bethany Parsons, 24, formerly of Iuka, on two counts of sale of a controlled substance; Zack Parsons, 25, formerly of Iuka, two counts of sale of a controlled substance; Sylvia Martin, 27, of Corinth, two counts of sale of marijuana; Vance Ladewig, 27, 703 Crater St., Corinth, three counts of sale of a controlled substance; Anthony Ladewig, 24, 703 Crater St., Corinth, four counts of sale of a controlled substance; Brenda Clark, 46, 703 Crater St., Corinth, three counts of sale of a controlled substance; and Barron Spence, 27, 608 Martin Luther King St., Corinth, conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Bethany Parsons is held in Tishomingo County Jail on a previous drug charge and Spence is held for Alcorn County on a separate warrant for a drug charge.

The Corinth Police Department, Alcorn County Sheriff's Department and Farmington Police Department assisted the Tishomingo County Sheriff's Department with the arrests.
