Marshall County has sought Totten since April 2012 for burglary and felony evasion. Shortly after he was charged, Totten was entered on the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as a wanted fugitive from justice. Totten has evaded capture for six months, but he is now in custody.
Marhsall County authorities were assured by the reporting detective that Totten would be taken to and held in the Dade County Jail to await extradition to the State of Mississippi and that he would be held until he was picked up by Mississippi authorities.
Totten will probably go before a judge sometime during the day.
