ABERDEEN - As part of an undercover investigation, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit arrested two individuals Wednesday, Oct. 17, on charges of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance.

Cassandra Orr and Roy Hammond were arrested in relation to allegedly sales of lortabs.

According to a statement from the MCSO, undercover agents received a phone call from Hammond stating he had lortabs for sell. Upon meeting at the intersection of Evans Road and Highway 45 Alternatve in Prairie, Orr and Hammond were arrested.

Judge Robert Fowlkes set bond for the two at $25,000.
