The Mississippi High School Activities Association announced penalties Tuesday following the fight between players from Vicksburg High and Jackson's Murrah High, the Clarion-Ledger reports.
Players and assistant coaches left the bench during the fight, breaking association rules.
Murrah, which was chasing a playoff berth, will play its last two games against Jackson's Jim Hill and Northwest Rankin. Vicksburg will forfeit games against Warren Central and Clinton because too many players have been suspended.
Vicksburg football coach Tavares Johnson Sr. was admitted to the hospital overnight after being hurt in the fight, but was released Saturday.
Officials ended the game early with Murrah leading 57-42.
