GREENVILLE — A school that was damaged in straight-line wind storm earlier this month is reopening.

The Delta Democrat Times reports that a temporary roof has been installed on the T.L. Weston campus.

Sections of the building that were damaged during the storm have been blocked off, and renovations are expected to be complete within three to six months, Superintendent Leeson Taylor II said.

The storm swept through the area on Oct. 17, knocking down power lines and damaging homes.

Greenville Public School District's ninth-grade students will return to the campus on Monday, according to school officials.
