Laura Pendergest-Holt, once chief investment officer for Allen Stanford’s financial empire, is serving her three-year prison sentence in a Kentucky facility.

Holt, a 39-year-old Baldwyn native, pleaded guilty before a Houston, Texas, judge to obstructing a federal investigation into Stanford’s financial dealings.

She was taken into custody immediately, and until recently was housed in the Houston Federal Detention Center.

Stanford’s international business had its headquarters in Houston.

Sunday, the U.S. Bureau of Prisons website shows she’s moved to a minimum-security camp for females next door to the Federal Medical Center, which houses males, in Lexington, Ky.
