OKOLONA – Okolona High School is actively looking for a new principal following the resignation of Branda Kornegay on Oct. 22.

Conservator John “Mac” Curlee confirmed the district has advertised the position and is currently accepting applications. Curlee said former South Pontotoc High School Principal Scotty Collins will help with day-to-day decisions. Collins began working at OHS at the beginning of the academic year and serves as lead teacher and disciplinarian. He has about 13 years of administrative experience.
