Saying farewell to CDF retirees

Dr. David Irwin says goodbye to Barbara Smith on Tuesday at the Community Development Foundation’s retirement party for Smith, Birdie Burleson and Harold Fikes. Smith, vice president of chamber program services, was with CDF for 29 years. Burleson, accounting clerk, has been with CDF for 25 years. Fikes, land and utility manager, has been with CDF for almost 18 years. The public party was held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in CDF’s new boardroom in Fairpark.
