Eat a burger, donate to Boys & Girls Club

TUPELO – Anyone in the downtown area can support the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi by eating a burger today.

The Boys & Girls Club Angus Burger fundraiser is done through donations and volunteer cooks, meaning all profits go directly to the club.

Evie Boyd, director of marketing and special events for the Boys & Girls Club of North Mississippi, said the fundraiser usually brings in around $3,000.

The meal includes a burger, chips, a drink and dessert for $8. To place larger orders, call (662) 841-6504 ext. 4 or visit bgcnms.org.The burgers will be on sale in the parking lot at the corner of Troy and Spring streets next to MLM. Burgers can be purchased from 11 a.m. until they are sold out.
