Monroe County Sheriff Department and North MS Narcotics Unit make six arrests

ABERDEEN – The Monroe County Sheriff's Office and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit executed six arrest warrants in Monroe County on Nov. 30.

The arrests stem from several months of undercover investigations into the illegal sell of narcotics by both departments and more arrests are expected.

Those arrested were Travis Devon Price, 28, of Amory, charged with sell of controlled substance (marijuana).

Callie Lee Laney, 34, of Amory, sell of controlled substance (hydrocodone)

Amanda Lee Burks, 33, of Amory, three counts of sell of a controlled substance (suboxone, xanax).

Erik Walker Burks, 30, of Amory, three counts of sell of a controlled substance (suboxone, xanax).

Edward D. McMillan, 28, of Aberdeen,sell of controlled substance (marijuana).

Brady Miles Thompson, 19, of Amory, two counts sell of controlled substance (marijuana, crack-cocaine).

All subjects were arrested and transported to Monroe County Detention Center

Bond has not been set at this time.
